On June 8 the resident of Castle Road reported that his custom-built bike was stolen. Soon thrreafter, the owner received a call from a local bike mechanic, reporting that the bike was listed for sale on Craigslist for $700. The man contacted the sheriffs department.

Investigators issued two search warrants in the Antelope Valley and ended up finding the bike in Oregon, accordsing to a sheriff’s department press release. Detectives are still pursuing leads in the case, but returned the bicycle to the owner on Monday.
