St. George’s Episcopal Church will open its doors tonight for a one-hour service to mourn the victims of Friday’s shooting in Newtown, Conn.

Services at the La Cañada Flintridge church begin at 4 p.m. with prayers, readings and music. At 4:30 p.m., the church bell will ring 26 times. Attendees will move to the preschool playground at 4:40 p.m. Hot chocolate will be served near the playground.

Everyone is welcome. The church is located at 808 Foothill Blvd.
