A small brush fire near the La Canada Flintridge Country Club Sunday afternoon got a quick response from the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The brush fire broke out around 5 p.m., threatening one structure. County fire crews attacked it with ground crews and water dropped from helicopters. The fire was extinguished at 5:33 p.m., with no damage to structures and no injuries, according to L.A. County Fire Inspector Quvondo Johnson.
