Girl Scouts, Kiwanis Club members, Friends of Glenola Park and civic leaders assembled with other community members the night of Dec. 4 in Glenola Park, the compact, triangular green space on Angeles Crest Highway at Vista del Valle Road, for the 19th annual Tree-lighting Ceremony and Canned Food Drive.

With the evening temperatures dipping into the 40s, guests of all ages bundled up against the chilly night to enjoy cider, cookies and some caroling during the event, which lasted just over an hour.
