The woman picked up a pillow and placed it under her dog, then took two costume masks and placed them under the shopping bag. After some time, the suspect went to the checkout stand to pay for another item and was detained as she exited the store by the agent, who made a citizen's arrest. Possession of concentrated cannabis, marijuana: Angeles Crest Highway at Lavender Lane. An officer conducted a traffic stop just before 1 a.m. after noticing a vehicle speeding and straddling lanes. There was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car, and the driver was placed in the back seat of his patrol car. The passenger, a woman in her 20s, had two outstanding arrest warrants issued against her and was arrested on scene. An inspection of the vehicle revealed a plastic bottle containing a rock-like substance determined to be "hash," concentrated cannabis. Two other bottles with marijuana were found on the suspect. The suspect claimed she had a medical marijuana card, but was advised that did not apply to concentrated forms of the substance and so was charged with possession. She was also charged with possession of marijuana for failing to produce her medical recommendation. The vehicle was released to the driver, and the narcotics were booked into evidence.
