Feb. 11

Petty theft and identity theft: 1200 block of Foothill Boulevard, between 8:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Purse, wallet stolen from car parked at Lighted Window Preschool. Bank/credit cards used to withdraw money and make unauthorized purchases.

Feb. 15 and 16

Grand theft: 5500 block of Rockland Place before 11 a.m. on Feb. 16. Welder stolen from car parked in front of residence. Owner not sure if vehicle had been left locked.

Feb. 18 and 19

Vandalism: 3000 block of Foothill Boulevard, before noon on Feb. 19. Plastic emergency sign broken off on apartment complex.

Feb. 19 through 25

Grand theft: 5700 block of Briartree Drive, before 8 a.m. on Feb. 25. Charter Communications electrical power inverter, phone line, batteries stolen from electrical panel on sidewalk.

Feb. 19 and 20

Burglary: 5200 block of Castle Road, before 7:45 a.m. on Feb. 20. Saw, two jackhammers and video surveillance system stolen from home. Approximately $10,000 in tools reported missing belonged to a contractor working for the homeowner. Property was not currently occupied and was under construction.

Feb. 21

Burglary: 1535 Foothill Blvd., 1:47 a.m. A 22-year-old Canoga Park man and a 21-year-old Sherman Oaks man were arrested on suspicion of stealing a 40-ounce bottle of beer from 7-Eleven.

Burglary: 5200 block of Castle Road, before 6:54 p.m. Jewelry worth $31,400 stolen from home. Small marks found on bathroom window frame. Chair found on outside of home under window.

Burglary: 5100 block of Castle Road, before 8:03 p.m. Jewelry box ransacked, various pieces of jewelry missing.

Burglary: 1800 block of Earlmont Avenue, before 8:50 p.m. Screens reported missing from windows on home, pry mark on kitchen door. No items reported missing.

Feb. 22

Burglary: 4400 block of Cornishon Avenue, before 2 p.m. Window on rear door of home smashed.

Burglary: 5300 block of Stardust Road, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tiffany & Co. gold watch and gold necklace stolen. Apple laptop, sunglasses and handbags also reported missing.
