Plans would also include the annexation of 24 acres currently under the jurisdiction of Pasadena into the borders of La Cañada, according to the report's executive summary.
Residents wishing to voice concerns or questions about the potential impact of the project on the surrounding community may file comments through the Planning Department up to the deadline.
The issue will be further discussed in public hearings before the Planning Commission, likely sometime in late September, and later the City Council, according to Fred Buss, a senior planner with the city.
The Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy report is available for viewing at: the La Cañada Flintridge Branch Library, 4545 Oakwood Ave.; the planning department counter of City Hall, 1327 Foothill Blvd.; or online at lcf.ca.gov/planning.
