WALNUT -- Win or qualify? That was the question before locals from Maranatha High, Mayfield Senior School, Pasadena Poly, San Marino and South Pasadena at Saturday morning's precipitation-filled CIF Southern Section Divisional Cross-Country Championships run on Mt. San Antonio College's considerably faster rain course. Except for La Salle senior Daniel De La Torre who won his second straight CIF-SS Division IV championship with a time of 14 minutes, 23 seconds.
